The Clinical Testing Division of Burt’s Bees, Inc. conducts claims substantiation / efficacy, comparative evaluations, safety and in-use studies. The results from these studies provide critical supporting data to meet the needs of our marketing and advertising departments.

Together an expert group of scientists and physicians measure several parameters of skin function and appearance utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and methods. Examples of various product types and their corresponding claim (in parentheses) are listed below.
